The Solo Shopping, Walking & Eating

I tried to wake up early for breakfast, but I just couldn't. Slept till 11 am, got ready & head out to Bt Bintang area. I read about this bistro cum bakery called The Loaf. It's located at Pavilion. Last night, with the help of Hewlett, I was checking out the map of Bt Bintang online so that I know how to make my way to Pavilion. I took the monorail to Bt Bintang & I just use my instincts & the rough recollection I had from the map. Pretty easy. :)

I saw The Loaf almost immediately. Gee...if you happen to like bakery items (I love bread so much that I did consider marrying a baker!), you'll find this place simply irresistable! I thought Bread Talk is wow already...but The Loaf beats them hands down! The bread spread is superb...looking at them is enough to make me drool! I tried their grilled chicken sandwich. Thought of bringing some buns back to Hilton to enjoy (feeling afternoon tea) but seeing how hot & humid the weather is, I guess better not. The Loaf is a must try if you go to Bt Bintang! I had my sandwich al-fresco & I tell you, I feel like I'm in Italy. Haha..it's good that Pavilion is situated on the other side of Bt Bintang, more of the atas area sort of.

I actually walked from Pavilion to Lot 10 to Sungei Wang & to Berjaya Times Square! I've heard about how huge Sungei Wang is & thought of taking a look myself. The shops there are like hundreds of those at Far East Plaza & the layout of the shops is like Queensway's. You can just walk around aimlessly & be totally lost. So much that I felt claustrophobic. If people like Liah & Suliana go to Sungei Wang, I bet they'll be sooo lost that they cry. Hahahaha! I just realise KL has many HUGE shopping malls. Mid-Valley, KLCC, Pavilion, Berjaya Times Square, 1 Utama, The Curve. These malls have big walkways too. That means, KL is very generous with land! Haha...well, Malaysia do need to make use of their land. S'pore will be so glad to buy some if we can!

The Christmas decorations in the malls are nice! It's better than those we had in Singapore, hokays! And KL Tower actually has beautiful lights that changes colour every now & then in the evening. Good good, shall admire the view tonight.

Going back from Bt Bintang to KL Sentral was another chore. I thought of spending my last evening in KL by "hibernating" in my room. I ordered room service, ate by the glass panes potraying KL's bright lights & blasting MTV. Gorgeous. :)

P/s: Thanks hor Helmi, for giving me the wake-up call yesterday. I appreciate the father or rather, obek figure in you. Hehe!

The Luxury of Being Myself

I finally made it. Not too far...in fact it's just next door. I'm blogging in the comfort of Hilton KL on level 24. I just need to go somewhere alone. So I bought the coach tics, booked the room & packed my bags. Oh...with Hewlett in tow. :)

Suliana screamed at me coz I only told her I'm going to KL for the weekend just yesterday. My folks are more concerned about the monetary terms...saying that I'm wasting my hard earned money. My friends thought I have nothing better to do. But best of all, one of my colleague, Jacqueline, named the trip incognito! Like wow...haha!

I took the coach down to Corus Hotel before boarding the Rapid KL to KL Sentral. The check-in process at Hilton took some time coz apparently they cancelled my booking as it's non guaranteed. I looked at my watch & told the Malay receptionist, "It's only 2.30 pm and I thought non-guaranteed bookings are to be released at 4 pm?" You see, as much as I try to be nice on my off days, some buggers are always testing my patience. When I asked her what exactly happened, she politely told me that everything's fine. *rolls eyes* How fine can it be when you have to make like 3 phone calls before you allow the guest to check in?! She assigned me a nice room on the 24th floor, facing the city. So, I guess there's justice after all.

I freshen up a bit & even had time to paint my nails! I decided to walk around KLCC for awhile since it's pretty early still. I got bored coz there's nothing much to shop & thought of going to Bt Bintang instead. I was shocked when part of the KLCC LRT station was blocked coz there were too many people at one time! We had to wait for a few minutes, before we're allowed to enter the station. And waited another 20 minutes coz I couldn't board the LRT! I just head back to KL Sentral instead of dropping by Bt Bintang. It was THAT hard to go back!

Anyway, I bought the famous chicken rice from The Chicken Rice Shop for dinner & ate it in my room. Now my blog name makes sense....safe in a crazy world. *winks*

The Updates

I sincerely apologise for the slack in updating the blog. I know I owe you guys certain pics & owe others certain stories but I just got lazy these few weeks. So, to avoid further disappointment, let me warn you that I may not update this blog that often anymore. Hmm..the past 2 weeks I've been working (what else?!), meeting up with friends & attended 2 weddings! This month alone, it has been 3 weddings. Goodness! It's a happy goodness larr...

Had dinner & movie with the Conrad girls last 2 Saturdays. (Even though Sue & Liah have left...I'll still categorise them the Conrad!) Pasta Waraku quite shiok! Too much can be jelak though...

Hamizah's wedding was nice! She looks soooo pretty. I mean, she has always been jambu anyway. It's the "in" thing for lilac I think. Tini's wedding theme was lilac too. I also want! Haha!

Sandra's wedding was on Monday. I wore a bright turquoise satin top with a short black skirt. Turns out..the "sisters" were wearing THAT shade of blue too. Haha..cantik all of us. I'm so happy for Sandra. Hitched at such a young age some more. :)

I've never been to Sentosa...on a Tuesday, just to have lunch. Trapizza was good...but there're better Italian fare elsewhere. Been wanting to try Michaelangelo's! Anyone keen? I shall try asking Sue...since we both love Italian cuisine. :) I had my sweet cravings fixed by Ben & Jerry's, before heading to town to watch The Kingdom. The duh-est thing that could happen to me is that I lost my card holder! I was so pissed with myself. The card holder was given by Liah & I had the Conrad ez-link card & my staff ID in it. How careless can I get? Damn...

And I went to...Changi Airport Terminal 3 just now! Happening can?! It is huge, it is classy & it is cool! I can't wait to board my first SQ flight & departs from the all new terminal! Haha...I even sms-ed Liah about my plans. So, if things go well, insyallah...I'll drop by Terminal 3..sometime soon. :)

It seems that I'm sharing you the above stories like...for the sake of putting up the entry, right? I told you...I'm lazy to even log in to Blogger now. Maybe it's time for me to "retire"? Haha! We shall see how it goes...

Shiok Week!

First & foremost, must extend my congrats once again to Ali & Kartini! They got hitched last weekend & I'm so happy for those 2! I used to think how alike they are to me & someone but oh well...things are just not meant to be & ...I thank God for that. Anyway, Tini looked sooo radiant....she's sure one lucky gal. More weddings coming up. Hamizah's in 3 weeks' time. Hidayah's turn next year. Best larr!

I caught the Vienna Boys in concert last Monday! Got free tics from Mr Grafe, met Syah after work & head down to Esplanade to watch them, 4th row from the front some more! The boys are sooo cute, I wish I can bring one home with me. Haha! The performance was superb & I wanna watch them again next year. :)

Went out with Hamsa just now. I waited (again!) for him at Eunos after his shift & I told him to decide the place for dinner as I was too lazy to think. He wanted to bring me to Fisherman's Wharf but it was packed with people! He had cravings for fish (I don't know why) & we thought..Fish & Co at Dhoby Ghaut then. I think that outlet is closed for whatsoever coz it was really dark. In the end, we settled for Manhattan Fish Market at Plaza S'pura. It was his treat! Good good...I'm broke anyway. Haha! I've been wanting to get a new ring for myself ever since my Swatch one gave way. I decided on a stainless steel ring, with "wires look-alike" stuff in the middle. Hamsa had his eye on another design & he got one for himself too! We forgot about watching movie coz the timings sucked & we just sat down outside The Cathay till 1 am with our dose of Starbucks. Nice.

Looking forward to next weekend. Girls' day out, people. :)

A BIG Yeay!

I just heard the best news for this week or rather in a while. A dearest friend is happily attached. I'm so ecstatic..as if I'm the one who got attached. Haha! Anyway, all the very, very best (from the bottom of my heart, hokays!) & may the relationship be the sweetest present for your birthday this year.

P/s: Don't forget about our plans, yah. The deal is still on. *winks*

The Chalet

After yet another long day yesterday, the entire morning shift went to East Coast for the Front Office chalet. Lotsa "old birds" came & it's nice to gather once again. Reminds me of those golden days when we all "suffered" together. Sighs...Nevertheless, it was a great evening of catching up...& photo taking. :)

Raya Outing

This year was the most happening one, for the fellow Conradians & ex-Conradians (or the ex-Cons as what Faizal puts it!). We've talked, we've planned, we've anticipated for this day, as early as 2 months ago. And the outing turned out well! Credits to the organisers! Who else if it's not me & Liah. Hehe! We started from 2pm till 1.30 am, hokays! Happening, can? :)

Tittle of Movie:
Orang Conrad Beraya
(translated into Conrad People Celebrate Raya)
***
Director:
Norain & Liah
***
Main cast:
Faizal, Nassir, Sadiq, Sabariah, Riza, Norain, Liah, Zaine
***
Supporting cast:
Chandran (made it to 4 houses), Rynn (only made it to 2 houses) & Helmi (covered 1 house!)
***
Location:
Almost the whole of Singapore

Special thanks to:

Kak Aini for the super-spicy fried spaghetti

***

Nassir's mom for the mee soto. The chilli was like...shiok!

***

Riza's mom fried macaroni with sausage & chicken wings. I also want Lingam's chilli sauce!

***

Sadiq's mom for the laksa. Yes, without the tauge & corriander leaves. Lucky it's all prepared separately!

***

Zaine & mommy for their delicious mee soto (again!) & to-die-for chicken wings. So sedap until I couldn't stop. Oh...they use Lingam's chilli sauce too!

P/s: If you realise, none of us actually cooks, except for Zaine. *winks*

And the funny moments:
Nassir was fasting (puasa enam) & Faizal doesn't know what that means! He thought it's fasting on the 6th day of Raya.
*****
Whenever we are about to leave a particular house, we have to remind Riza to go out & put on her heels first. Coz she just had to wear those that have strings to tie around the ankles...comfortable & looks good...but troublesome!
*****
All the girls brought cameras & knowing how important for each of us to look pretty, we kept taking & taking UNTIL we all got satisfied. And there's a point of time (at my place), where the guys just sit still & the girls did the different poses!
*****
Walked over from Tampines to Simei. Seems near but it was a good 30 mins walk with our kain & bajus. Not glam, especially with the 5pm sun.
*****
4 girls in 1 cab while the 4 guys in another on the way to Helmi's house. The taxi driver said to we girls excitedly..."Eh! Your boyfriends are behind us!". BOYFRIENDS??! Hahahaha!
*****
Faizal looking forward to see his "in-laws", Sabariah who is smitten by Sadiq's cute younger brother & they talking about being "family members" altogether.
*****
Disturbing Liah & her new found friend. Good luck, hor! :)
*****
Riza & Zaine making their moves like rabbits...at 1am! Oh, they were just playing video games. :)
*****
Thanks people for making the jalan raya so fun & fabulous. Insyallah, we'll do it again next year, yah?

Hari Raya Celebrations

The Raya outings weren't much of a difference this year. As usual, my family went to my uncle's place on the first day as my grandmommy is there. It's nice meeting my cousins, the older & younger ones. Now that we all have grown up, we only see each other like...twice or thrice every year? My mom even said that in future, their kids may not know my kids or the fact that they're actually relatives. Haha...at this rate, how true is that.

Anyway, my relatives simply luuurve asking me the million dollar question. *rolls eyes*. Tired of repeating the same answer for the same question, can? Surprisingly, my mom helped me out this time! She happily told my aunties it won't be anytime soon coz "there's still vacancy & wondered if there's anyone who wanna apply". She sounded as if her daughter will be left on the shelf like that. I'm an eligible bachelorette, hokays!

Oh..my cousin, Ayos, resigned from his "metal rice bowl" job & gonna join NIE next year! So unbelivable. Haha..his younger sister was asking me if I have anyone to intro to her brother. I immediately thought of Liah (first choice!) or Siti (if no choice!) since these 2 are the only Malay girls (whom still single) I can think of at that moment. Any other interested applicants, please feel free to contact me directly. My cousin is veeeery eligible, just that he's short! Hahaha!

Hari Raya Jitters

Oh...it's the eve of Hari Raya! I've always like the eve. I would stay up..watch tv showing all the Hari Raya songs & not forgetting old Malay movies. The likes of P. Ramlee especially. Haha!
Anyway, I was glad to be off for today, tomorrow & the day after! I went to see Dr Tan just now to get my usual dermatology fix...& a trip to the salon to get my hair coloured. Well...the mood for Raya wasn't that happening but the glamour feeling has set in! *winks* It's all about looking good & feeling good larr. In the evening, I met Helmi for a bit to return his luggage. FINALLY. It's been 7 mths! My sis even said that it felt weird that his luggage isn't around in our room anymore. Well...we've been putting our stuff on top of his luggage, you see. Like a shelf like that. I told Helmi...in a few months' time, I may need to borrow his luggage for a holiday again. Haha!

Suliana met me at my void deck for awhile to pass me some stuff. And she hugged me, wishing a blissful Raya & said that she loves me! How sweet! (I love you too, Bedah! Nasib baik tak cium, sey! Hahaha...)

To all my Muslim friends:

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir & Batin.

P/s: Don't forget next Saturday, hokays? ;)

If Eating Could Kill...

I can't recall when was the last time I had such good meal gatherings in a row. Must have been ages ago. Oh well, all I can say is that I've been out & about the past few days. Let's begin with:

Saturday

Went to Geylang with Suliana to get my Hari Raya baju. The streets were full of people & I perspired just to walk from Paya Lebar MRT to Tanjong Katong complex. You'll get to see all kinds of people during this festive season. A good-looking guy caught my attention & guess what..Suliana said he looked at me too. Excited for a moment there! Hehe! My baju this year has a touch of bronzy-goldish colour. It cost me a bomb! I never bought something that expensive for Hari Raya all my life. :)

Sunday

Dinner with the famous girlfriends! Fizah borrowed her dad's car & she drove me & Maria around for the first time. She's quite an impatient driver larr, one that curses & say her prayers on the road too. We drove up to East Coast beach & shared 1 large pizza & desserts. Nice!

Monday

Met Liah & Faizal for break fast. Felt like having Subway...& so we all did. Took a cab down to Dempsey Rd to meet Frankie & Sue. We sat at PS Cafe...& the place is so lovely! The cheesecake is sooooo delicious that we got 3 slices (Frankie had 1 slice all by himself). Do try the Berry Chocolate Cheesecake. As the cake melts in my mouth, can't help but giving the shiok look! Haha! I had ice mint tea too. Somewhat different, but taste great. Go PS Cafe to chill with your good friends or to impress that special someone. Rather expensive though. Main courses so so only...

P/s: No pics available for PS Cafe coz I forgot to bring my memory card. Lamer!

Thursday

Been a long while since I catch up with Wayne & Justin. Had dinner at Modesto's & desserts at Corduroy Cafe. Modesto's serve regular Italian cuisine but let's talk about the cafe instead. It's this American styled milk bar (or so they claim) with cool desserts. I love the candies & chocolates on display! Reminds me of Candy Empire but more...American? I saw the stacks of cupcakes & I was tempted to buy one. And I had warm milk with mint. Not bad larr...cannot afford to go often also. It stretches my purse AND my tummy. :)

Friday

Off day! Met Sadiq & our first stop was....Geylang! He wanted to get kain songket & gosh, the moment we stepped out of the MRT, I can't stand the heat already! It's scorching hot! We were at Geylang for less than 30 mins & then he decided to go to Bras Basah Rd to look for bermudas. Sadly, most of the shops don't accept Nets payment & the nearest ATM is undergoing the works! So again, we were there for about 30 mins only too. I wanted to get Crumpler (my first!) & we head down to Orchard. Daniel suggested checking out AMK Hub. I broke fast at Ramen Ten at AMK. I travelled all over the island like that, can?! The boys continued watching movie while I made my way home. And I thought...what an eventful day & week indeed!

Friends Forever

Spent a fanta-bulous evening on Thursday. Farah was back in S'pore & I haven't seen her for more than a year as she's based in Dubai. Supposed to meet her & Charlene only. Then she sms-ed me in the wee hours that Sadiq was coming & asked me to get Liah to join too (I was so busy that I didn't think about calling the rest of the usual us). When I was at work, Nickole was saying casually that she gonna have dinner with Charlene & Farah. It was funny coz both of us never talk about it before that! Then, Shawn called me..wondering what time Nickole & I could finish our shift...coz he's with Farah! Nickole added that Sue, Gen & Clarabelle gonna meet us too. Like wow lorr!

Farah, Sadiq & I had Muthu's Curry for dinner while the rest of the girls had Fish & Co. All of us met again at Starbucks & guess what...Michelle, Daniel & Jamadi came too. What a lovely gathering. At Starbucks some more! Why, you may ask. Well...each of us will agree that at some point of our life in Conrad, we were THAT addicted to Starbucks Coffee. So, from just a small meet-up, it became a major one that consist all the fellow front office peeps! If all of us were to work in 1 shift, say on Christmas Eve, no matter how busy it is...still shiok larr! Sighs..and that reminds me of the good old days...

P/s: How can we forget to call Suelyn??! It was really last minute...sorry Ah-Fun! And what about Helmi & Frankie? Geez...

It was Faizal's last day at work yesterday. Just before he bid goodbye, I hugged him & gave him my well wishes. My emo-ness came along & I cried! I thanked him for all his guidance (the bitching, scolding & mood swings helps!) & for the fact that he was there for me when I was down & out early this year. He had tears in his eyes too! Gosh...lucky only got Yijun, Faizal & myself at that moment. The trainees saw me wiping my tears & they kept quiet suddenly. :)

I took my own sweet time after my shift & had a chat with Craig & Chandran. As much as I'm happy for them who left for the greener pastures, I can't help feeling sad coz those days when we all had so much fun at work..are just memories now. I was telling Craig, it's not easy to find colleagues who can be your good friends & them..leaving one by one this year, is indeed a great test for me. First was Sadiq, then Suelyn, Sue, Liah & Faizal. I can't help tearing again & Craig almost cried too! Haha..I have that effect on people when I cry, huh? :) I can be so detached & perverse...but I keep friends & relationships close to my heart. Touching, you!

For all those times you scolded me (Norain! Re-update your reg card!)

For all the lies that you made me say (no NS, KB)

For all the joy you brought to my life (Your singing & Melayu drama sensation)

For all the logs that you have write (Remember #2201?)

For everything that you have taught (Misc duties, EF & AM training)

For all the guidance I found in you

I'll be forever thankful...:)

Manic Monday

When I was in the cab on my way back home, I looked out & realised that it was a full moon. It's nice to see God's creation like the moon & shining stars...especially after a long day. Such simplicity. I can't help but smile to myself. :)

Glad that I managed to buy the mooncakes at the Gift Shop. I'm THAT Chinese at heart, you know. I like mooncakes & I get them every year. Well, my family don't really eat them coz they find it...weird? Especially the one with egg yolks. I enjoy them anyway.

It's my 3rd round of 10-day work-non-stop stint. Been on afternoon shift for a month. The good thing is that I haven't got the time to do anything else, let alone shop. So money is saved except for the usual Starbucks indulgence. The side effects outshine it all though. More lethargic. No personal time & for friends. Stressed. And my dearest Eunuch has to propose something dumb to the rest of the Kingdom. I wonder what Empress Dowager will do about it. My fellow princes & princesses are thinking of declaring war with the Eunuch. Like what Princess Tanglin said, Eunuch's stupid cells are acting up! Good gracious!

P/s: An aquantaince told me that I seem very "cold" & that it's tough to know me better. Oh well, it doesn't matter. At the end of the day, I'm just...Norain. :)

Rumours

This piece of "news" is hot! Fresh from the oven! I was chatting with Edward awhile ago & apparently, there're rumours that I've something going on with one of the porters! And I thought I have a clean record in Conrad. Haha! Oh well....there's absolutely no truth at all larr. Aiyoh! Might as well say I date the guests. I wouldn't mind Mr Idris Abdullah. *winks*

That Time of the Month

Seems like disappointment (see my previous post on the "d" word) lingers in the air. At least, I know I'm not the only one feeling it. Sighs... I was chatting on my mobile with Liah AND on MSN with Nasir...it's cute that I'm trying to console them as much as I'm trying to comfort myself too.

Liah: We always end up at the same "bus-stop" eh? Must shower in flower water on 31st Dec so that we'll have good karma next year larr! Be strong, tau! I understand it's not easy. I'm always here for you to cry to. I just can't really lend you my shoulder though. :)

Nasir: To think you were making fun of my predicament?! But..for you to not being able to get over the person means something lorr! There'll always be someone new, anyway. Knowing you. Haha!

And so...life goes on, right?

A Call For "Help"

I know I went to Phuket just last month. BUT...I wanna go on a short trip again. It's so addictive! How?! I don't care if it's just across the causeway or over the sea for that matter.

A LOUD shout out to my fellow jetsetters or those who likes to travel but haven't been anywhere (I'm sure they know who they are):

1) KL (makan, shop, party?)
2) Bali (sightseeing, adventure & relax... I don't mind going again!)
3) Cambodia/Vietnam (I so wanna check out the landscapes & culture!)
4) The pulaus : Redang, Perhentian or Pangkor (Beaches are always great)

Anywhere further than these places have to wait till next year. :) I shall plot my remaining leave nicely (Nick: Don't worry...you go for your Bali trip first, hokays? It worries me that your leave still got alot!). I shall have a serious discussion with my counter-parts about the so much needed getaway...AGAIN!

Eventful Week

I spent my 3 off days in glory! Besides coming home at almost 3 am for the past 10 days that I worked afternoon shifts (either I worked till late or went suppering), I got home in the wee hours on my off days too. I only remember coming home to sleep. Haha!

1st Day Off:
Had dinner with Liah, Sadiq, Sun & Nickole. Supposed to watch movie BUT there was a miscommunication between Liah & Sun about the booking of tickets. Alas, we didn't watch any.

2nd Day Off:
It's at MOS! Liah & Riza overslept (Can you believe it?!) & so there were only myself, Nickole & Suelyn. The music was great & the crowd was oooh-kay. Too bad those 2 meenahs didn't join us. Especially Liah....she owe us a treat!! Hmmph! Suelyn wore a low-cut top & she got approached by an ang-moh. Who says she doesn't have what it takes?! *winks*

3rd Day Off:

Arranged to meet Hamsa for coffee. He also...OVERSLEPT. (3 people slept on me this week!) All the more he needs to get me the Gucci bag! I didn't wait for him long enough coz I just had the feeling he'd sleep all the way. "Have faith in me", he said. Right.

Had my Starbucks dose (I've no freaking idea how much was my coffee intake for the past 2 weeks already) with Sadiq & Daniel at United Square. Torn between watching a movie or heading to JB. Decided on watching "Rogue Assassin" instead. And..while waiting for the showtime at 12.25 am, the 3 of us had another round of...Starbucks. I should really consider setting up a trust fund or propose a loyalty programme with them, you know. See how much money they've been making out of me?

Then, the day that I came back to work (which is Saturday), I had lunch with Fizah & Maria at The Manhattan Fish Market. Shiok! The concept is like Fish & Co. Prices about the same too. I was so full that I could skip dinner.

I shared this seafood platter with Maria. Still cannot finish, worr!

I like my famous girlfriends. :)

After my shift ended, I watched "No Reservations" (yes...it's like a movie week larr) with Sadiq at The Cathay. Nice show! Something quite light hearted. If only life could be just as sweet. :)

Thoughts

I got this from Wikipedia:

"Disappointment is the emotion felt when an expectation of something positive desired is not met. Disappointment can also occur when a desired outcome is not met, even if it was not fully expected. In economics, researchers have hypothesized that individuals take into account the possibility of experiencing feelings of disappointment and/or regret when making decisions. Researchers typically assume that disappointment is proportional to the difference in utility between the expected and actual outcomes. It has also been found that increased effort to ensure a postive outcome results in increased disappointment if that outcome is not achieved."

And that explains...the higher your hopes are, the bigger your disappointment will be. I guess...I did have hopes after all.

The Long Awaited Off Days

It's almost 6am & I just finished watching "A Walk To Remember" with Hewlett. It's my 3rd time seeing the movie but I still enjoy it so much that I could tear at the end of the show! I like sappy & touching movies larr. If any one of you haven't catch that show, please do! Typical love story but the scripts are meaningful. :)

Today marks the beginning of my 3 days off! My 10-day of "suffering" finally ended, just temporarily though. I gonna make full use of these 3 days to catch up on my sleep, run errands (thinking of getting a new pair of contact lenses), meet up with the famous girlfriends (Suliana, Fizah, Maria), coffee session with Hamsa & a night out with my usual kaki-arks! Oh, & Daniel asked if Friday I'm on for supper at JB. Great! Spending time with friends are always great.

Will update with the pics (if taken). :)

Supper @ Geylang

Ok.. this may be nothing to others, but I just came back from Geylang for supper! GEYLANG ley! First time for me worr! Oh, for me to be able to go supper also means that I finished work slightly earlier than the past few days. Thank God I had Momo for my afternoon team & Daniel was doing mid shift. It helps to have these seniors around, you know.

Daniel waited for me, Momo & Jamadi to finish our shift & we drove to Geylang to eat...beancurd! Well, there's nothing much that I can eat in Geylang anyway. (I even thought of durians!) I took Daniel's Cherovlet & Momo hopped into Jamadi's Subaru. Jamadi drove sooooo fast that it's hard for Daniel to catch up. Haha!

The funny thing is that I've never been to THAT Geylang area at night. I'm the kinda person who likes to see what's around me, especially if I've never been to that particular place before. We drove past the tiny lorongs, & I was amazed by the red light districts. So suaku! You mean those girls really stood around, waiting for customers? Some even brought beach chairs kind & sat along the pavement, fanning themselves! I've seen such acts on tv but to see them live with my own eyes, it's like WHOA. Jamadi & Daniel were surprised that I've never been to Geylang lorongs before. They seemed to be VERY familiar though. :) Damn...I should have brought my camera.

We ate at one of the coffeeshop along the main road & had beancurd & you tiao. Daniel ordered xiao long bao for himself too. Momo was wondering why it was still crowded at 3am. I told her Singaporeans eat at anytime of the day one. The 4 of us were discussing about the "ladies of the night"...& I must say I'm impressed with Jamadi's answers. This guy is smart & quite an observant! There're certain things that I wasn't aware in the past or didn't bother to ponder about. Hehe...thanks to Jamadi's explaination, Momo & I know men a tad better now. *laughs out loud*

Jamadi gave me the lift back home coz it's more convenient (he stays in Woodlands). Sitting beside him in his Subaru is like sitting beside Michael Schumacher seh. I love the adrenalin rush in fast cars though. Like stress relief! NOW I feel like driving. :) We chatted quite a bit & I understand his predicament. Cheer up, friend! Insyallah, things will work out just fine. Life goes on, hokays!

The Rants (Part 2)

Ok people, thank you for bearing with me for the past few entries & the next few ones. I know I've been complaining how sucky my work is or how "disappointed" I am in something, someone or somehow. And everything has to happen at the same time. How gorgeous.

Like how I stayed back till 2am to finish up my work & I foresee it'll be that way till next Tuesday. Frankie was at the back office, beside me & so, I asked him out of nowhere; why is it so hard for humans to tell the truth? Wouldn't hiding the truth, or rather delaying it, hurts more than the truth itself? (If you're lost at this point, it's ok. Don't bother figuring out what I'm talking about). What a topic in the wee hours, huh? :)

Frankie: Thanks for listening to my non-senses, hor. I still think the whole reasoning that I told you about is ridiculous (you know, you know) but yeah, if it makes others happy, I think I'll get by too. If not, happier. Haha! I saw you leaving a comment on Helmi's blog that you're fast becoming our "sister". Can make it larr! :)

I like this quote: "Endure my own despair, not another hope". So very the feeling. Ahaks!

Dinner With The Melayus

Another great makan session with my friends! Or rather, it was a reunion for the 4 Boyanese & 1 lost Arab! Had dinner with Helmi, Liah & Sadiq at Thai Express. We kept disturbing one another, so much that we were laughing out loud at the cafe. Faizal joined us later & we accompanied him satisfy his cravings at Yoshinoya. Walked around a bit & decided to give Abang Ibrahim (our ex-AFOM) a call. Thought of paying him a visit at Marina Mandarin but it turned out he was having his dinner at Swensen's. So we head down to have our ice-cream treats. Shiok larr! Talk talk & laugh laugh. We should have this often!

We made plans for Hari Raya outing this year. I'm already excited for the jalan jalan! I'm in the "committee", with Liah being the main organiser. Insyallah, we'll make it happen, doks!

The Rants

Geez...It's gonna be Sept already! I remembered how "intense" my work place was last year around this time due to the IMF period. And I was just thinking, one by one, my kakis at Conrad has left. But I shall not make their departure, the main reason that I will resign too. Not now, I guess. I wanna be positive & if I survive through this, I know that I tried my best & be proud of myself that I put in the effort to pull the team together. I believe, the remaining few of us...will agree too. We are tired, sick of the same crap & things are not getting better with the whole bunch of newbies we have to "mother" & "father". I heard Frankie telling the trainees about what the AMs have to go through everyday & I thought...man, I'm paid to do all that?! That's a lot of stress & hard work! Strange enough, when I'm at it, I didn't realise the stress-ness. I bet, the next time I see Dr. Tan, he'll ask me the usual question. :)

Work was fine today. My feelings wasn't at its best though. I didn't go to Is's wedding coz I was on shift. I'll be attacked with loads of unnecessary questions anyway. Maybe I should just show my face but I was too...lazy? Supposed to meet Nasir for dinner but that fella has to go out with his folks. He better buy me kopi. Not forgetting the fact that he took pictures of me without my permission yesterday! Hamsa called me after work & we chatted a bit. It's nice to hear from a friend & I thanked him for cheering up my not-sure-why gloomy Sunday. I know he's as stressed as I am..coz he has a psycho who tags to him! Haha!

I'll be working straight for the next 9 days. NINE days. Need to increase my Starbucks intake, don't think too much about other stuff & look forward to my off days after that.

Nick: I'm soooo on now about your plans for 6th Sept! :)

Simplicity Saturday

Supposed to go for movies with Liah today. We've been planning to catch one since last 2 weeks. Yeah...it's that hard to go out together. By the way, she has left Conrad & now I have one less kaki to grumble to. She didn't really wanna be hugged on her last day & as expected, she cried. Anyway, it's been awhile since we saw Zaine, & so, together with Sadiq, we made a trip to Jurong West to spend time with Zaine at his cosy home! We makan-makan, watched Perfect Stranger (that's the movie I wanted to catch!) & chatted till about 8.30 pm. Walked around Jurong Point & sat down at McCafe for drinks. A very simple Saturday spent with dear friends. I like. :) And I bumped into Nasir again on my way back! Just when I was about to ask him when he's free. Haha!

P/s: I feel stupid asking that question. But I just wanna clarify. I'm sorry if I sound defensive or "sore". I am not. Really. Neither do I expect anything. If that's the way we all shall be, then I will leave it as it is. Damn...why do I have to be so bothered by it? What doesn't kill me will make me stronger, right?

Oh yah, to Liah Kamis (my best travel buddy so far, good friend & good ex-colleague):

Thank you for the being there for me through my ups & downs. I must say, I got to know you much better this year & I'll always remember our trip to Australia (More to come!). Really glad to know you as a friend & you are one that I'll treasure (coz you know lotsa my secrets! Haha!) always. All the best to your future endeavours & may you find your true happiness. :)

Dreams

Ever since I was in Phuket last week, I've been feeling very lethargic. I would feel so sleepy after 8pm & could sleep soundly till morning. The part of sleeping like a baby is good but I still feel the tiredness no matter how many hours I slept. Stress larr...

I had a dream last night. I could only remember bits & pieces but I was happily with someone & we, with a bunch of our friends were having...a picnic. (I know it sounds duh!) When I woke up, instead of smiling (it's actually supposed to be a good dream), I feel sad coz it wasn't real. Things are just not gonna happen. And the dream spoils my mood for the day. :(

The Rainy Phuket Trip

Back in Singapore this morning. My trip was alright. Tsk, it rained EVERYDAY! I know it's the monsoon season in Phuket now but still... Before you all start asking me if I snorkelled, if I swam, if I tanned...let me tell you: I did NONE of the above. :( This is so unbelievable but I didn't even shop much! Only bought like..a skirt & a top? The shopping instincts didn't really hit me larr. Oh...I had the best spa treatment though.

Day 1: Arrive in Phuket

Hang around the resort. It's so private! Great for those with families or honeymooners. Lonely people like me also could find things to do! Hehe~

Nap. I've been working on night shifts, enjoyed Gwen's concert, worked again, watched Liah's play & then off to Phuket. Hectic worr! Need beauty sleep badly...

Checked out the Sails' Cafe & Andaman Lounge. Booked a 2 hr session at the spa for next day.

Spent time with Hewlett & blasted my fav songs on Nano. Fell asleep.

***********************************************

Day 2: Spa-ing & Shopping

Weather hasn't change. Got worse, in fact! After breakfast, I "hibenate" in the room for a bit while Suliana took Rina out for a swim at the pool.

Spa apointment was for 1.45 pm. I must say, it's the best feature in the hotel besides the 3 big pools. I made my way to the spa (slightly further from the main resort, across a lagoon & a garden) & was recommended to go for the herbal steam bath before my treatment. I chose Honey Body Mask & Siamese massage. The therapist introduced herself & showed me to the treatment room. Well, I seriously thought it would be a ROOM but no...it was a VILLA! All treatments are done in private villas, leyy! My villa is called Synergy & it's so nice! I had the honey mask first, rinsed myself in an outdoor shower stall (all the birds & bees could see me bare naked!) & then got ready for my massage. I actually fell asleep. Such a bliss! Who cares about the weather? Hahaha!

Met Suliana & took a cab to Patong Beach. Walked around a bit & then went back to Hilton.

*******************************************

Day 3: Beach & Seafood Dinner

The rain stopped for awhile, after breakfast. Suliana managed to put Rina to sleep after another round of swimming & so we "sneaked" out to the beach, just a few metres away from the resort. The waves are scary. No wonder got red flags that reflect warning signs in the danger of swimming in the open sea.

Went Patong again as Suliana need to get some stuff for her students. Had dinner by Patong Beach.

*********************************************************

Day 4: Home Sweet Home

The long queue to check-in at Tiger Airways counter. That explains Rina's grumbled face.

Dunkin Donuts for breakfast

Hmmm...already planning my next vacation. ;) Who's up for it?

The Sweet Escape Meets Earnest

Got the time now to post the pics for the Gwen Stefani's concert & Liah's debut stage appearance at The Importance of Being Earnest. The pictures are self-explanatory so I'm not gonna blog much about those 2 days. If you're reading this entry at one of the desktops in Conrad's back office (like Lavanya & Lynn), I don't think you can see the pics coz I use Slide. Easier larr! Sorry, girls. :)

Sawadee-kap!

Ok...for a start, I'm doing this entry live in Phuket! This may sound ridiculous but I actually plan to go on a short getaway on my own for the longest time. I applied leave, just nice on the week that I was up for Gwen Stefani's concert, Liah's play the next day & then pack my bags for my holiday. I booked a room at Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa & flew via Tiger Airways. My boss wouldn't believe that I'm going to Phuket alone (She has this idea in her head that I'm bringing a man). It was almost successful...UNTIL last week that Suliana thought of tagging along. She gave me a list of what I can't do & what I'm supposed to do in Phuket (She's worse than my mom!). And then...she said..."Why not I join you as well?!". So she did. We've been thinking of holidaying together again but I really had my mind set for a me-vacation. Anyway, she's good company. I'll plot another solo trip next time & I won't tell anyone! :)

Right from the beginning today, the customer service people at the Budget Terminal, the Tiger Airways crew & the Hotel staff has been very pleasant. So much better than my trip to Bangkok & Pattaya last year. When we entered the compounds of Hilton Arcadia, we were greeted & then showed to a mini "Hilton van" that we took us to the check-in area. Suliana & I felt like VIPs! I was introduced to the AM on duty & I almost forgot that I'm here for a holiday. :)

So...my room is great. Sea view, leyy! 12th floor some more! Suliana brought Rina out to jalan-jalan around the resort. I decided to stay in the room & do an entry before we go shopping later. Weather kinda sucky though. There're a few wings in the resort. I'm in the Andaman Wing, I think. The resort has activities lined up for in-house guests; eg. pilates, aerobics, batik painting & even a Muay Thai class! And not forgetting the spa that I'll indulge in one of these days.

I guess I'll only put up the pics when I'm back home. There're shots of Gwen Stefani too...& Liah in her 50s. Hahaha!

P/s: I plucked my courage & sms-ed someone this morning before I board my flight to Phuket. It's hard to explain things, even harder not to have hopes. Maybe his impression of me changes after the sms? In any case, liking someone just mean sheer disappointment to me....

For No.285!

Lavanya & I felt motivated to support the SHA athletics finals yesterday. It's actually an inter-hotels sports challenge. Like Sports Day when we were in our younger days. So, after our night shift, we took cab to Hougang Stadium (of all places) & put on our cheering mode. There were other hotels like Sheraton, RC Hotels (Raffles The Plaza & Swissotel The Stamford), Shangri-la, Rasa Sentosa, Amara & Pan Pacific, I think.

The highlight of the morning wasn't the events but the eye candy that Frankie told me to take note of. He said there's this good-looking guy from RC Hotels & his shirt number is 285. I didn't see him around so I thought....okay, I will check him out later then. This is not about being desperate or menggatal, it's just for fun.

So when I saw this Malay guy winning the 100m run (he's super fast!), I was like...gosh, he's hot! Hahaha...Nice package, man. From top to bottom. Lavanya then nudged me & said.."That's the guy! No. 285!". And the whole time we were there, he just couldn't escape our eyes. :)

Frankie found out his name & the department he's working at as well. Efficient hor? When you see something that catch your attention so much, you just couldn't stop to find out more. Haha! Anyway, my support at the athletics was fruitful after all. A reward for my eyes. *winks*

National Day

Let's talk about 8th Aug first. Liah picked me up in a cab after my late shift & we went to St. James for our girls' night out. Nickole, Sue & Cindy were already in & they told us that the queue was pretty darn long. True enough, Liah & I saw the queue for ourselves when we reached The Power House. Sooooo crowded! And I still prefer the clubbing scene in KL. :) Anyway, we managed to "smuggle" in, thanks to Rynn. And we got free membership! Not that we luuuurve Power House to death but being the Singaporean in all of us, getting freebies give us adrenalin rushes. Hahaha!

Since I got home like 6 am, I could only woke up at 2.30 pm. It's National Day.... & I'm off! I thought of slacking at home with Hewlett & just watch tv but Suliana & her friend, Raizal insisted that I should go out with them. After almost an hour of persuasion (if they could drag me out of my bed, they would!), I got ready & followed them to City Hall. It was great! Raizal watched the NDP preview before, & using the knowledge he got from serving NS many yrs back, he led us through the crowd. I like the water stunts! I suddenly figured out why we pay so much taxes for. :) Suliana was smart enough to use her video camera to capture the happenings at the floating platform & Raizal was being very gentleman by making sure that I got to see the stunts or the cannons or the giant screen (coz I am THAT short, apparently). He also kept asking if we girls are comfortable (lotsa foreign workers leyy, if you know what I mean).

We stood at the open ground outside Esplanade & caught the fireworks without much obstruction. You see, I don't mind if I don't get to see fireworks but since I could, it felt nice. Especially with my best friend. Suliana hugged me & said she loves me. How sweet. I love her too. A lot. :)

We walked to Raffles Hospital & had dinner at Banquet. Suliana's dad fetched us & sent me back as well. The day was splendid. Thanks, Bedah & Raizal.

************************************

Liah msged me on MSN & told me to read someone's blog right away. I asked why but she won't tell me. She sounded very angry though. I have a choice to read or not, & I won't. What I heard is that someone has put me down. So someone got the cheek to say I'm childish. So someone said it's my nature. The pics are nothing. THEY are really something. I just thought it should be fair for my friends to know who are "cheating" them too. After all, if I am that bad of a person, I bet those idiots know I could do more than just grabbing their pic & post it on Friendster. And there goes all the talk about "mummy wants me to have a gf who goes to the mosque". Ahaks! Oh, he'll always feel the guilt. That explains why I was described as a "not so nice face". He wasn't nice to me, what!

Anyhow, I'm not starting a blog war. What goes around, comes around. And my friends, please stop reading other people's blog that have so much crap that it angers you. Might as well watch porn. You have a choice. :)

A Great Saturday!

Haven't met Dahlia for so long. About 3 more mths & it'll be a year since I last saw her. Suliana SUPPOSED to join us but she ditched us for her laptop. Her Compaq has crashed (Hewlett better don't!) & she got her IT expert-friend to help. Not sure if it's fine now. Might be gone case. Anyway, Dahlia, Tini & I craved for Japanese food so we head to Bugis for Sakae Sushi.

Eating with them was so much fun! I update Dahlia on what I've been up to the past few mths. She gave me loads of tips & both of them were teaching me to be bad! Haha...not bad as in bad, but... THAT BAD. Oh well, I shall keep their tips in mind. I tell you, the whole time we were in Sakae Sushi, window shopping & dessert at Coffee Club, those 2 chicks were telling me "naughty" stuff. I realise I've been a Daddy's girl all this while. :)

P/s: It's such a coincidence. I saw 2 familiar faces at Orchard Rd just now. I could recognise the male one from far. And the female that held his hand so tightly. When you snatched someone's boyfriend, you definitely have to hold on tight. Better still if got leash. Just in case retribution strikes & he got snatched as well! Haha! Tini walked in front blindly while Dahlia & I were chatting at the back. I told Dahlia whom I saw & just their luck that we passed by them too quickly (Opposite direction larr!). If not, I wouldn't wanna imagine what my 2 gorgeous friends will do. If you're with a meenah, you've to dress up to try to look better. (It helps to balance out the ugliness!) That explains why the male fella was wearing something that I didn't think he would. I understand. :)

The day was still nice though. I just like these 2 girls even more.

DVD-ing With Hewlett

I was looking out for dvds to watch on Hewlett & decided to rent the Indonesian movie, "Dealova". It was my last morning shift just now (I've been staying back till so late every day!) & I thought I just need a good movie to relax. I'm not into horror stuff. Maybe a sad, sappy movie will do me justice. Haha...boy, I was right. The movie made me teared. :)

If you ask me, the movie is like one of the many typical Indonesian love stories we should get sick of. But well, I'm still a sucker for romance-tradgedies. Haha!

Heard the song below during the Anugerah finals few weeks ago. The lyrics soooo the feeling. I looike!

Looking forward to my off day later. Going out with Dahlia, Kartini & Suliana. ;)

ALMOST There

If there's one word that can describe my work these days, it's definitely: SUCKY. Or rather, VERY SUCKY. It's been busy every week, even busier with all the so many trainees. We're tired & we dread coming to work. I miss those days when there's "quality" people, instead of the "quantity" at work. Tell me...how to last till end of the year??

Hamsa asked me out for dinner last Tuesday. Now, it's soooo unlike of him to initiate a meet-up. He's like working 24/7, you know. (I've never known someone who loves working so much!) Anyway, he was late as usual, even though he was on off & the one who's from work (like me) can reach 30 mins earlier. He said he has a sad story to tell me. (I knew it! There must be something!) Alas...it's about the matters of the heart. And I thought he is the "victim". But no larr...he won't be one. Someone else will. Haha! Anyway, we had a bet & I won. So he still owe me a Gucci bag. *winks*

Suliana & I finally had our dream came true! We brought our lappies out for coffee at Starbucks Liat Towers over the weekend. So fun! We shall do it more often, no? Hehe... Anyway, I wanna get a bag for Hewlett. Wondering if I should get a Crumpler or Timbuk. *ponders*

Watched the movie "Knocked Up" with Naz yesterday. It's hilarious! Kept me awake even though I was tired from work...Good good. I just couldn't tahan on my way back home that I fell asleep in the bus & left Naz to listen to his mp3 player. :) I felt bad after that.

My roster for the next 2 weeks looks ok. Nickole has planned another chiong-ing session for us. We all need that soooooo badly. Looking forward to the 8th of Aug!

The Love Of My Life

It was a tough decision. Really. I wasn't sure if we can get along together. I'm afraid of what others may say about us, especially my MUM. For the past few months, I've been thinking if I need you, or rather, just WANT you in my life. Last Saturday, I made up my mind to just go ahead with it. I promise not to regret my actions. I will not neglect you & I hope you'll be faithful to me, as long as I live. For sure, I know that:

When I'm sad, you'll play songs for me
When I'm bored, you'll watch movies with me
When I need someone to talk to, you'll be there for me

When I want company, you'll follow me wherever I wanna go

People...please meet my new squeeze:

Isn't it so sleek & good-looking?! I shall give it a name. Any ideas? I've been calling it Hewlett. But I feel it's such an orh-bit name. Something soooo gorgeous must have a soooo gorgeous name. Let me think.

Weddings & Me

I attended 2 weddings last week: Charlene's & Maria's elder sister's. Both were joyous events & I got to meet up with my friends. Charlene had hers at Grand Hyatt. It was my first time at a Chinese wedding ceremony. Kinda excited! Sue, Sammi, Nickole & Gen were the "sisters" & they were made up so pretty. Jealous worr...Haha! I had to work on night shift that day so I didn't really stay till the end.

Maria's sister's one was at Tampines. My mom couldn't come & I was accompanied by my dad & Suliana. We were there for about an hour & Suliana & I decided to go to town after that. She couldn't wait to get her new Harry Porter book larr. We had a bit of Starbucks, window-shopped & Suliana's dad sent us home.

Another wedding next month. Hhmmm~

2 More Weeks!

I can't wait for August to come. One of the reasons:

Liah gonna have her debut act at Drama Center on 15th & 16th Aug! The play is called "The Importance of Being Earnest". So I gonna give her my utmost support..maybe with banners & all. Maybe with the whistles & cheer. Maybe with flowers & the works. Haha!

The most outright reason why I'm anxiously waiting for August is because...Hmm...I won't say just as yet. Sadly, spending will be involved in the process but never mind. I'm bent on doing it anyway! *winks*

By the way, after so so long of hesitation, I finally got the tittle of the song that the Conrad pianist has been playing every weekend. It's a love theme from the movie Flashdance. I'm not orh bit. I'm just a not-so hopeless romantic. Hah! :)

Harry Potter-ing

I don't recall falling asleep while watching movies, no matter how boring they can be. But when I watched Harry Potter & The Order of The Phoenix just now, I was dozing off during the first part of the movie. Besides being relatively slow, I was tired from my morning shift at work. I told Sadiq that if I fell asleep, just let me be & wake me up only at the end of it. Haha! But he kept nudging me to stay awake...which I tried to, after half the movie was gone. I think the movie is disappointing. To think that I wanted to watch it at GV Class! Thank God I didn't! I'd really sleep soundly lorr..for a good 30 bucks.

I had wanted to meet Nasir today, but he said that he has a date. And then, miraculously, I bumped into him at CCK, on my way home! So excited! Haven't seen him for years! It's weird talking to someone who used to look chubby, but has become so much slimmer. Haha....he's still as loud & irritating. That didn't change one bit. We'll try to meet up for coffee or dinner larr....one of these days. Can relive the good old sec. school moments. :)

The So-Called Atas Dinner

Yes! I apologize for the delay on the dinner update but I have to wait for Nicky to send me the pictures. You see, I don't have my own digital camera (I share with my sis) & it so happens that on that very day we met for dinner, my sis brought the camera along with her. So, I got Nickole to play photographer & snap some shots for me.

Well, like I said, the dinner was at Greenhouse, Ritz-Carlton Millenia. The cost of the buffet is slightly more expensive (about $55) & the spread was...okay. Better than Hilton's of course! I quite like the setting of the restaurant. After all, it's the Ritz-Carlton, darlings. I know, I know.... my friends has been saying that I spent a lot on food. Keke! Oriental's Melt Cafe in May, Aquamarine at Marina Mandarin & Checker's at Hilton last month. And then, off to Ritz-Carlton! Wait till Charlene's wedding at Grand Hyatt next week. Feeling worr...

My buddy left for the greener pastures!

Cindy, Suelyn, Sue & Nickole. We were kinda full...the chilli crabs were shiok!

The 2 trainees, June & Cindy ended their contract about the same time Sue tendered her resignation. Oh yah, Aisah & Tom too!

The ex-Conradians, Sadiq & Daphne, joined us for the dinner as well. The trend now seems that whenever someone left the team, we "celeberate" the "graduation" with a cool dinner. :) I better start finding ideas on where my farewell dinner will be at.

The ten of us. Oh..Sadiq helped to take this shot.

On Sue's last day at work, I was working night shift. When I saw her in the morning, I didn't talk much & just shook her hand, wishing her all the best. I didn't wanna hug coz I don't wanna feel that she's really leaving. That was settled. BUT, when we were about to say our byes at the restaurant that night, I hugged her & again, wished her good luck & thank her for being there for me as a wonderful colleague & friend. For a good 5 secs, we didn't let go of our hands & the most un-glorious thing that could happen; we both cried!

This year started on a very new note for me. Those people who know what happened, yes, I really appreciate them giving me the moral support & encouragement. I must say, I see my colleagues on a different light (It's a good light, hokays. The kinda lights you see at the end of the tunnel! Haha!).

Though I'm very close to Liah, Nickole,Suelyn... Sue was the best buddy larr. I told Liah, if she ever leave, I don't wanna see her on her last day at all. Haha! Nickole won't move till next year. Anyway, later that night, Liah sms-ed me, saying that she'll always be there for me as a friend & urging me not to feel sad. So sweet!

P/s: Liah is still single. So what are you guys waiting for? *winks*
