The Last Entry

It's been a long while, ain't it? Been occupied with work, e-learning and dearest boyfie. :) Not forgeting the meet ups with my lovely Bedah. In a line, what I've been up to the past...2 months were: Hari Raya outings, trip to KL with Boyfie & friends, Ungu concert (fantabulous!), getaway to Batam with Boyfie & doing e-learning in between. How to find time to update the blog, tell me?

Us...having dinner before watching Ungu.

At Sour Puss Cafe, Esplanade.
I think...it's time for me to say ta-ta to the blog. It's been 3 years since I started this space online. For those who followed my blog since Day 1, you know the main history, how I got the name of the blog..and basically...what's the blog WAS all about. The blog potrayed my PAST happiness, how I got through the depression &..how I found my current & insyallah..the last love of my life. In time to come, the love story between me & Syah...will come to light on THE DAY. :) The day both us are looking forward to. For now, I thank God for giving me a man who has so much patience, so much love, so much care & so much other reasons for me to love him.

Goodbye...Little Superhero Gal. I have found my own niche, that's truly safe, in a crazy world. :)

P/s: Okay, if Syah allows, maybe I'll drop by his syafael.multiply.com to make special appearances. :)

October

F1 is finally over! The past 1 week has been very busy, with my group coordinators clocking more than 12 hours of work daily....extended slogging hours for everyone & etc. Despite all that, I managed to spend a mere 2 hours for supper with the boyfriend & the best friend. It's my dearest Bedah's 25th birthday! Supper at Spice River Valley has always been so much fun. :)

She got a new camera from Sufy & a maxi dress for herself!

And we enjoyed supper till 3 am!

Me & Syah even went to Mustafa Centre over the weekend & I was excited over the soooo many instant food stuff there! Eve of Raya was nice, we both listened to takbir together. :)

To all, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir & Batin. :)

Pain, pain!

What do you do, when you can't sleep at 3 am, having abdominal pain/cramps (no, not the lau sai or berak-berak kind) & start to feel, stressed out? Then came the negative thoughts and out of the World fears. Then I kept tossing & turning on my bed, & THEN headache sets in. I sms-ed The BF. Although he has slept, miraculously, he could wake up & gave a call to check on me. Despite all the whining I could muster at 3 am, The BF gathered words of comfort & coaxed me to see a doctor in the morning (I'm lazy when it comes to doctors & medicines). So, thanks Dar, for sacrificing your sleep to "accompany" me on the phone, to make me feel better (the pain doesn't go away though) & to cheer me up. Tell me when you're sick. I may go all the way to Bedok to pass you home-made-instant chicken broth. :)

I shall ask for Anarex to take me to Milan. Yes, in my dreams.

Random

With the sheer of luck, my mom seemed to know that I was going to buka at home & she made..mee bandong! It's a spicy soup noodle & is usually a lil sweet. I never taste other mee bandong as nice as my mom's.

Not too spicy. But yummy!

My siblings enjoyed the noodles too. Especially so after fasting. :)

I'm looking forward to October. Hari Raya & hopefully, yet another short getaway. F1's coming. Bleargh. Busy days till then. Can't wait for it to be over.

Potluck-ing!

Breaking fast with the closest friends has always been great. Especially when it's the first time I brought Doraemon along to meet Fizah & Maria & their respective partners. I went to Geylang with Dar to see see baju kurung & I managed to get something I like! Dar bought deng deng (it's like the Malay version of bak kua but it's beef!) & air kathira (a milky flavoured drink mainly available during Ramadan). Fizah did the open house & cooked rice & tom yum soup. Maria & I paid for KFC delivery. Wan made grilled salmon & mussels. Suliana & Sufy bought....mooncakes! Haha....what a potluck! We watched this corny Malay movie called "Duyung". Maria hasn't watch "Ayat Ayat Cinta" before & we thought that we should have a sappy-love-story kinda movie that can make us sob our hearts out but alas, the disc just won't work! So we ended up watching a Thai show, "Dorm".
Suliana & Sufy have been very active lately....Hehe!

Maria looks good with her new hairdo while Wan just seems to get bigger...

Laughing to our hearts' content watching "Duyung".

I love these girls!

The ladies in the house...posed like it's only 3pm when it's already past midnight.

The men watched a lil bit of soccer & were obviously all tired. Can you see Wan's tummy?! Haha!

They agreed to take a picture but refused to look at the camera. And I know my Doraemon ACTUALLY wanted a good shot! :)

From This Moment

We decided to go Vivo City yesterday to break fast together. Wanted to get his best friend's birthday present as well. The highlight of the evening (and that explains why I'm blogging about it!) was what he said DURING the bus journey to Vivo, the moments when we looked up for stars (cloudy night though, chet!) and chatting on the phone last night. To hear those words from MY man, is just so....magical. So, what exactly did we talk about, you may ask. Haha...I'm not sharing just as YET, but all I can say is....it's something that I have been looking forward to. Just waiting for the right person, the right time. And yes...he made it. *winks*

This sound cliche, but I'm reminded of Shania's From This Moment! For you, Doraemon. :)

From this moment I have been blessed
I live only for your happiness
And for your love I'd give my last breath
From this moment on
I give my hand to you with all my heart
I Can't wait to live my life with you, can't wait to start
You and I will never be apart
My dreams came true because of you
You're the reason I believe in love
And you're the answer to my prayers from up above
All we need is just the two of us
My dreams came true because of you

First Month

The first month has been great. It just reminds me of the song "All My Life" by Kci and Jojo again. It all falls nicely into place. I hope, many many happy months will come. :)
Us at Fullerton Hotel

I try to pout my lips...

Couple in black!

Starbucks Central. It certainly helps that we both love Starbucks!

And the beautiful tulips that marks the first month!

Exploring Bedok with Badoque!

So I met my Doraemon for dinner today. We dropped by Geylang Serai for awhile to see see the bajus for Raya. I've always wanna have mine tailor-made, but I'm always too late, larr. We didn't stay very long at Geylang & we head to Bedok for dinner. Doraemon brought me to a cafe I've been wanting to try....Badoque! And I like it! It's chic yet, relaxed.
The concept is simple, full of black & white decor. Coincidentally, Dar wore black & I, white!

My ravioli was good! Almost as delicious as Spaggedi's!

Dar had Chicken Kunzeer (I think that's the spelling). It's similiar to ayam masak merah. Haha!

Their desserts come in palettes & small slices! Dar said that the cakes look like sushi. I got a tiramisu gelato with a lil chocolate truffle cake. Very sweet but yummylicious!

I had to finish the dessert myself as Dar can't consume dairy products anyhow, anywhere. He's lactose intolerant. :)

Dar's friends, Yanto & Yana joined us for drinks at Badoque as well. It's a well-spent Friday. Looking forward to tomorrow!

The Couplehood

You know...ever since I declared that I'm attached, friends been leaving comments on my Friendster account, wishing me happiness & they seriously seem more excited than I am! Haha...it's sweet and I appreciate them. Suliana sms-ed me the other day & asked, "How's couplehood?". I don't mean to neglect her but I really has been busy & tired from work AND yes, spending time with Doraemon. :) So, I met her for dinner just now. That...later. Like I was saying, besides my friends, colleagues has been rejoicing my couplehood too. Haha...either they're afraid I'm turning bisexual or that I'll end up an old maid. Choy! Most of my friends & colleagues wanna meet Doraemon. Tsk tsk...Doraemon: You better prepare your cover letter & resume!

For the benefit of my strong blog supporters like EDWARD, I don't mind sharing a lil bit of my love story. I got to know Doraemon through Friendster last year. We got along very well but I just wasn't ready and I didn't have any special feelings for him. So, all this while, he's been a very nice friend & I can count on him for anything, anytime. Somehow, I decided to open up & give him the chance. And alhamdullilah, he has shown me so much happiness & love. :) I just realise that the both of us have a lot of similiarities, like how he likes to hang out at Starbucks, he's into peppermint (none of my friends like peppermint stuff!), the songs choices he listens to & we both have dimples! (Yeah, that's the least important, I know) He read my entire blog, right from the beginning...& he's been giving me lotsa assurance. Liah was telling me that our partners should bring out the best in ourselves, & I agree that Doraemon does makes me feel like I'm the most wonderful person on Earth. I love my Doraemon, larr. :)

Anyway, I'm off 3 days this week. Met Suliana just now for dinner. Doraemon's turn tomorrow & BOTH Doraemon & Suliana on Saturday. We going to Sentosa! Yippee! :)

~Love Actually~

Ok, the pics for Bali....hmmm...I'll TRY to post it soon. No promises though. Haha! It was a great trip...despite Lavanya's deep snores & her taking a loooooong time to get ready. :)

I'll talk about my National Day celebration instead, can? It was never this fulfilling before. At least, none that I can recall. We went triple dating! Shiok? Of course it was! Sat by the Singapore River to see the Black Knights, fireworks in front of Fullerton Hotel, dinner at your regular MacD's, sang to our hearts' content at Cash Studio and supper at Bencoolen. Now...that's what I call a celebration. :)

It's a special one for me, Liah and Suliana this year....as we brought our dearies for the first time. Many more to come. Not the dearies..but the outings. Haha!

Taking a cab down to Raffles Place. Rina busy making faces.

Me & Doraemon, I mean, Syah by the Singapore River. Drizzling lar! :)

She's so happy...she's a star..

Lucky our colour combination is good!

The boys and their antics.

So drama!

Sufy singing for Bedah. Yes....we were ALL emo-rockers-screamers that night.

We taking it slow and steady. :)

The Dimplets! Yup...we ALL four have it!

The speckies' corner!

The only MOMENT that Sufy was taller than Suliana. Thanks to the lil step there. Hahaha!

Don't mess with my man! *winks*

Mat Noor & Liah Kamis.

Hmm...Please forgive him? Haha!

We really enjoyed ourselves, even when Sufy has to wake up at 5am the following day. Even when Syah has soccer at 8 am. Even when Noor has work to do. What matters, is the company. Right? :)

Lucky!

The day started with a splendid meaning....a moment I hope I'll keep close to my heart for the rest of my life. Thank you for being there for me and not giving up even a bit. Thank you for the care and concern. Thank you for the teddies, the flowers and the Coach wrist bag. Thank you for the songs, the Starbucks treats and the well-wishes. Thank you for being my friend. And thank you...for being my love. Insyallah, we'll work this out together, hand in hand. :)

Oh, did I already tell you that I'm flying to Bali in a few hours' time? Hehe...Updates, later.

The Day Hidayah Got Hitched!

I remember the days when my dearest sweetie-pie girlfriend, Hidayah, spoke about marriage back in secondary school. She, together-gether with Hamizah, would talk about how their dream wedding ceremonies would be...in the midst of Mr Tee's (our so duh English teacher) lessons. In between recesses, PE lessons & even walking to the building on the other side for our Malay classes, these 2 girls would talk about their Prince Charming...the marriage & the kids that follow. Not forgetting the "happily ever after look" that spread across their gleeful faces. Haha...Hamizah got married to her long time boyfriend (like 9 yrs!) last year & Hidayah got hitched...last weekend! When I hugged Hidayah & gave her my well wishes, I whispered.."You been talking about it since secondary school days, & finally, tonight is the night you been waiting for". And I almost teared. :)

Suliana & Dahlia. Lucky Dahlia is still single, like me. Haha!

The remaining few singletons. :)

Dahlia: Ain...she looks so matured with all the make-up huh?
Me: Yeah...And she's only 25 yrs of age, like us.
Dahlia: Oh no...when we get married, I guess AFTER we're about 27 yrs old, won't we look even OLDER??
Me: Shut up!

Waiting for our turn to take a snapshot with the wedding couple...

And I wish..Hidayah & Raihan: Have a blissful marriage. :)
P/s: Missing really makes the heart grows fonder, huh? *winks*

The Catch Up

It's been a looong while since the last update. Like I said before, I'm getting lazy to post entries. Why I suddenly appear again out of nowhere? Coz I've been awake since 4.30 am. Haha! My sleeping habits are horrendous these days.

Anyway, it seems just yesterday that I blogged about how fast half of the year 2007 has passed & I realised that...it's the same time of the year again! I'm not saying much now, but so far, 2008 has been good to me. Alhamdullilah.

If 6 months seem to pass by with a blink of the eyes, I guess..the next 6 months will be the same too. And before I can enjoy my 25th year of existence to the ultimate fullest, I get a year older. Sighs...

Oh! How can I forget...3 of my friends celebrate their birthdays this week. The 3 Geminians are: Naz (today is the day!), Siti (tomorrow!) and Lavanya (18th June..I think? Hehe!). To all: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

TGIF!

Great Friday evening I had with the boys. We went to PS Cafe at Harding Rd for dinner. Kinda pricey but the food isn't too bad...& the ambience, nice for couples to smoochy-moochy or for close friends to give a low-down of the week. In any case, you HAVE TO make a trip to PS Cafe at least once. The berry chocolate cheesecake there is a killer. :)

Took a ride in Daniel's ah-beng Chevy. :)

Daniel had fish & chips....

And so did Jamadi!

I had some Kofte curry...with basmati rice, chapatti & popudums. Yeah...all the works, baby!

Daniel always, always looks like he's faking a smile...

Then Jamadi & I thought that we just have to promote the berry chocolate cheesecake....

And our threesome dinner was done! :)
